Known Issues — Foto Trimmer 2.0

Images saved as PNG and TIFF appear all grey when opened with Mac OS X Preview application.
The problem is that the images do not have their alpha channel (a.k.a. "opacity", "transparency") exported when saved. Foto Trimmer uses QuickTime to import and export images. While QuickTime 4.0 and later have support for alpha channel for formats like PNG and TIFF that support it, REALbasic does not yet communicate the alpha channel to QuickTime.

Many other applications, such as the Finder and Graphic Converter, will either infer an all-opaque alpha channel or ignore the problem. We have requested a fix from REAL Software, and will simultaneously investigate other solutions.

Title bars on inactive windows in Mac OS X version disappear.
This is a cosmetic problem resulting from using "composite" windows in REALbasic. We have requested a fix from REAL Software.
